Imagine if we create an exact copy of you – your memories, your brain/body structure, your brain/body chemistry, your personality, and everything 100%.
If you abide by a purely materialist philosophy – that is your entire BEING is simply a makeup of 100% physical attributes, it will therefore follow that an 100% exact copy of yourself should posses 100% of your exact BEING including your consciousness, awareness, and YOU.
Therefore, YOU (including your consciousness) would be present in two brains/bodies simultaneously.
There should now be two exact copies of yourself down to the most fundamental element and fundamental being.
A = A.
However, this is a paradox, since even this exact 100% copy would be an individual with free agency, and therefore a separate being.
This clone may behave exactly the same, demonstrate the same mannerisms, and posses the same mindset, but at the core we now have two completely separate individual beings, with their own separate consciousness.
What is the missing component?
The soul, the essence, and anima.
There must be a component beyond the physical brain/body that is able to forge two completely separate individual beings when both beings are an exact 100% copy of each other.
The purely materialist philosophy says A=A, but A cannot equal A in this case.
The dualistic philosophy says Ax /= Ay.
The X and the Y being the soul component.
With Ax /= Ay, we can have an exact 100% copy of two people, while both people still retain their completely individual being.
